La Alberca, a village in the middle of the forest. Architecture..um..strange.

Today I feel refreshed and relieved like I've been through an adventure and am about to return home. Maybe it's because it's the halfway point and I'm about to turn back. Or maybe it's because I'm about to turn back into Spain, a country that I have been familiar with for several days. Even though I'm turning back into Spain, I'm going a new way, not the same route because I planned a circle instead of the same place. I still feel relieved that it's a country I've been to before. 😂 After breakfast, I drove straight to #la Alberca, a small village that people say is very cute. It was a 570 km drive, the longest drive of the day. The road from Sintra to La Alberca, the first part of the way across the country, is a motorway. The traffic is clear and the road is good. The further away from Lisbon, the more empty the road is. It's very empty, almost a single car road on the big road. It seems to be the way to a city that not many people go to. After about 100 km, I will reach La Alberca. Get off the motorway. It's a 2-lane road. After about another 50 km, we enter the forest this time. It must be a shortcut. In a valley, there is a garden of some kind of plant. It's not a very large plot, like it belongs to the villagers. Driving up the mountain, you will enter Parque Natural de Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia National Park. When you start to enter the park, the road is good and there are more cars coming the other way, but still not many. Passing through many small villages that are old tourist towns before reaching La Alberca. I didn't stop anywhere, let's check in first, go see the village that I intended to go first, and tomorrow I can visit other villages. I drove through the middle of the village. I saw a sign for paid parking not far away, so I parked and walked out to pay. So I asked the parking collector where the hotel was. He walked me there. It was only about 30 meters away. It was a medium-sized hotel with a lot of parking in front of the hotel. It was both a luxury restaurant and a hotel on the upper floor. He told me to park my car at the hotel instead. I didn't have to pay for parking. The Spanish people are cute again. 🥰 So I went back to get the car and park at the hotel as suggested. When checking in, there was a large group of elderly tourists in a bus, probably all Spanish. After getting off the bus, some went their separate ways to their accommodations. Some were still sitting in groups talking in the lobby. They must have gone to other places and came back to stay at this hotel. I checked in and went for a walk, looking for something to eat. I was hungry and hadn't eaten anything substantial all day. It was already late afternoon. I walked around the old village with a long history, taking pictures of almost every building because it looked unique. It was a unique and beautiful architecture. The exterior walls were painted with sticks. When I arrived in the middle of the old town, many tourists were sunbathing and watching the city. So I looked for something to eat. Every shop said that it was not time for food yet, so there would be no hot food for sale. There was only dry, salty bread and ham, and water. That meal was another pitiful meal. Spanish food still has its dry and unpalatable characteristics. Plus, the seats outside were very cold. Even though there was gentle sunlight, I couldn't sit and enjoy the atmosphere for long. I could only eat a little bit before walking around. There were many sausage shops and many handmade shoe shops. So I went in to visit them. I thought that this trip I had to find something to give myself as a gift. So I bought a pair of shoes. The price was quite expensive, around 3-4 thousand baht, but the shoes were hand-sewn in Spain, so I had to give in. 😅 Then I went into Chocolate Homemade. I tend to be allergic to anything handmade or homemade, so I bought several more pieces. Watched until there was nothing else to watch and then walked back to the hotel. In the evening, I went down to eat at the restaurant downstairs. Went to bed early. Today was tiring too. Walked a little but drove a long time. My back didn't hurt as much as I thought. It must be because the car is good. It's been a while since I've driven such an expensive car. If I have to travel long distances often and have to drive myself, I might be interested in buying this brand of car, "Audi". I like it a lot 👍🥰 #Spain #Europe
