Cultural Center inside the Spanish Cultural Center

Spain Westward Journey ~ Salamanca (Region) Founded in 1218, the University of Salamanca is renowned outside Spain as a center of teaching and culture. The university building is square in plan, with a central courtyard and surrounding galleries. Its most interesting feature is its Plateresque appearance. The Escuelas Menores building, located next to the university, has a similar art deco facade, and in one of the classrooms you can still see the ceiling painted by Fernando Gállego. #2024TravelReview #SpainTravel #Castile-León
