One-day tour experience of Jibei Island | Depart from Penghu North Sea Visitor Center

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 During this trip to Penghu, we specially arranged a day to go to Jibei Island. We arrived at Beihai Visitor Center around 10:00 in the morning and prepared to take the 10:30 boat to Jibei. The entire visitor center is well-equipped, and there are many businesses on site that can assist with ticket purchases, motorcycle rentals, or arrange water activities, which is very convenient. The boat ride takes about 20 to 25 minutes. The weather is very good, the sea is blue, and the sea breeze is very comfortable. You can feel the strong island atmosphere as soon as you get off the boat. After arriving in Jibei, we first rented a scooter to go around the island. It took about an hour to go around the island. There were many beautiful sea views and coral reefs along the way. We also saw many people snorkeling or playing banana boats, jet skis and other activities. The most famous thing about Jibei is the sand tail, which feels like walking into an island postcard. We took a lot of beautiful photos there and also sat on the beach to enjoy the breeze and daydream. It was very comfortable. At noon, we had a simple meal at a snack bar on the island, where we had fresh fried flying fish and small tube noodles, which had a very local flavor. Overall, this short trip to Jibe Island puts people in a good mood. Although it is not far from the main island of Penghu, you can enjoy a completely different kind of leisure and beautiful scenery.
