The Beauty of Penghu (Taiwan)

Penghu, the pearl of the sea in Taiwan, attracts countless tourists with its unique natural scenery and charming marine culture. Every time you step onto this land, it feels like entering a colorful painting, mesmerizing and enchanting. We stayed at the five-star Pengcheng Hotel. Inside, there is an indoor extreme experience hall where both adults and children spent the whole day rock climbing and parkouring. It was quite fun! Outdoors, the blue sea water and white sandy beaches of Penghu complement each other, with waves gently lapping the shore, creating a pleasant sound. Walking along the beach, feeling the breeze on your face, your mood relaxes. In the summer of Penghu, whether diving, snorkeling, or riding a jet ski, you can enjoy the fun of the sea. Especially on the white sandy beach of Qimei, the soft sand feels like fine powder, making you want to stay there forever. Besides the magnificent sea views, Penghu's natural scenery is equally stunning. From the sunset views of Xiyu to the rocky beaches of Magong, every corner exudes the unique charm of nature. Especially among the islands of Penghu, such as Green Island and Heisha Bay, these mysterious small islands allow you to appreciate the poetry of nature during your adventures. Penghu's culture is also profound and charming. The temples and historical sites here, such as Xiamei Cave Temple and Tianhou Temple, showcase the diversity and uniqueness of local beliefs. The grand annual Mazu pilgrimage event makes you feel the love and reverence Penghu people have for the sea goddess. Savoring Penghu's cuisine, the seafood is especially fresh and delicious. Local specialties like Penghu scallops and sea urchins are mouthwatering whether eaten raw or grilled. In Penghu, every scenery is like a memory, and every moment is a story, making you linger and forget to return. It is not only a great place for vacation but also a place where you can calm down and think. Whether it's the delicate beaches or the ancient culture, Penghu uses its beauty to give every visitor endless emotions and inspiration. Eating a cactus ice cream to relieve the sweaty heat, drinking a bowl of hot ginger soup to drive away the bone-chilling cold brought by the northeast monsoon. When I have the chance to visit Penghu again, I want to experience island hopping and deeply explore the charm of Taiwan's largest small island.
