Chita Shikoku 88th Temple "Entsuji"

I visited Entsuji, a temple of the Soto sect of Buddhism, which is the 88th temple of the Chita Shikoku Pilgrimage. Entsuji is located at a key transportation point on the Chita Peninsula Road, Nagoya Expressway, and Isewan Expressway, and is the 88th temple of the 88 Chita Shikoku Pilgrimage. According to temple legend, it was founded by Gyoki and its founder Muso Soseki, and is an ancient temple with a history of over 1,200 years. The temple grounds contain many temple treasures, including a standing statue of Bishamonten, and you can view them by making a reservation. The Bato Kannon Bodhisattva and Juntei Kannon Bodhisattva, which are said to have been enshrined by Gyoki, are designated cultural properties of Obu City.
