The National Gongju Museum traces the history of Baekje.

The permanent exhibition hall of the Gongju National Museum displays key artifacts from King Muryeong's tomb, and is designed to evoke the feeling of being inside a tomb. By examining the excavated luxurious gold earrings, large shoes, and the Jinmyosu guardian statue, I was able to gain insight into the Baekje people's perception of the afterlife. Knowing the history of Gongju before traveling will help you feel more familiar with the area.
