A church full of Baroque reliefs

Andalusian Tour ~ Cordoba (Region) Andalusian Baroque, official national monument. It is located in the center of town and is connected to the Iglesia Mayor. The interior is decorated with extensive plasterwork and paintings by the local painter Juan de Dios Hernández. In the center of the church is a sanctuary richly decorated with scenes from the life of Christ. The tabernacle and images were created by local sculptor Pedro de Mena y Gutiérrez.
