Small town on the Odile River

Andalucia Tour ~ Huelva (Region) It is an important tourist destination due to its beautiful beaches. The town is surrounded by pine forests and owes its origins to a tower that sat atop the Punta Umbria hill. The tower was built in the 14th century to warn the populace of potential invasions. During the summer it is possible to connect Punta Umbría and Huelva by so-called "canoes".
