FYI, this chain originated from Taiwan. The concept is really simple and hassle free : they provide you with a cosy eating environment and everything else is DIY or self service. Other than special items like chawamushi, miso soup etc where you need to order with staff, all other sushi can be taken directly off the conveyor belt. Green tea sachets are free and cups are available at your counter where you can DIY your own drink from the hot water tap. Utensils and condiments like the Japanese shoyu, wasabi and ginger slices are all self service at your counter. So convenient! My usual takes here : - Cheese abalone nigiri - Crabmeat mentai nigiri - Fried toufu pouch maki - Salmon sashimi - Seaweed salad - Mango pudding - Jellyfish - Takoyaki So how do they charge ? Simply $1.50 per pink plate ! Note : Usually a 40 minutes time limit is given but staff won’t bother you unless there’s a long queue. At the end of your happy meal, simply call for the waiter who will count the plates , issue you with a bill and you proceed to the payment counter to pay. So simple ! No wonder it’s so popular !
