The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a specialty coffee and tea retailer from the United States serving a wide variety of hot meals, salads, cakes, pastries and of course their range of hot coffee, teas and ice blended drinks ! For their cakes, we recommend : - Chicago Cheesecake @ $7.50 a slice Coffee Bean's signature cheesecake that is smooth, rich and creamy. - Homestyle Carrot Cake @ $7.50 a slice 3 layered carrot cake with carrot bits, raisins and walnuts plus a smooth cream frosting on top. A bit too sweet but nice. - Pandan Gula Melaka Cake @ $7.50 a slice A light, triple layer pandan chiffon sponge cake, with cream cheese frosting and shredded coconut and drizzled with gula melaka syrup upon order. If you have a sweet tooth for gula melaka, this cake if just right for you ! Finish off the rich cakes with one of their signature ice-blended drinks like their Belgian Chocolate or Original Mocha which contain their delectable coffee extract, chocolate powder and skimmed milk blended with ice and topped with sinfully yummy whipped cream :) Sometimes they may have an offer for cakes and that's when I order some for takeaway too !
