During the Spring Festival period, Shanghai is bathed in bright sunshine, and the morning sun wakes me up, carrying my longing for the ancient town, I embarked on a journey to Xinchang Ancient Town in Shanghai. I walked into a snack shop and tasted the specialty of Xinchang Ancient Town - chicken soup tofu, and also bought two Xia Sha bamboo shoot Shao Mai from the opposite side of the shop. The unique taste of the native chicken in the chicken soup tofu is unforgettable, and the Shao Mai is also very distinctive, no wonder there are so many people in line. There are many other special snacks in the ancient town, I really wish I had three stomachs, I simply can't eat them all! There are Begonia cakes, You Dunzi, fried stinky tofu, Cao Tou Bing, as well as Tang Yuan, Da Rou Zong... The local salted meat is also a major feature, and you can take a piece with you when you leave. On the old street, I also found a unique shop. The shop is full of various handicrafts, and the owner enthusiastically introduced me to the stories behind these handicrafts. This is not just a shop, but also a carrier of culture. As the afternoon approached, I found a coffee shop to sit down, the name of the shop is a bit interesting called 'Yi Qi Yi Hui'. Here I ordered a latte, casually picked a book to read quietly, feeling the tranquility and comfort of the ancient town. The sunlight filtered through the leaves and fell on me, making me feel warm and comfortable. Here I felt the profound cultural heritage. The local residents showed me the history and culture of the ancient town with their lifestyle and traditional customs. I was immersed in this atmosphere, as if I had become one with the ancient town. As the sun gradually set, the ancient town was bathed in a golden glow. I stood on a stone bridge, admiring the beauty of the ancient town under the sunset, and my heart was filled with emotion. At this moment, time seemed to stand still. Night fell, and the ancient town gradually became quiet and mysterious. I wandered on the old street, the tourists had gradually dispersed, and the ancient town said goodbye to the hustle and bustle and returned to that quietness, the ancient town under the lights had a different charm. The beauty and cultural heritage of Xinchang Ancient Town made me linger and forget to return.
