【Miyagi】Sendai - Sanriku Seafood and Local Sake at Dateji

After arriving in Sendai, I searched for an izakaya where I could enjoy local cuisine while carrying my suitcase and decided to visit this place. I arrived around the opening time, so it was still quiet, but by around 6 PM, customers were also seated on the second floor. The interior had a calm atmosphere, and the staff were very kind. There was a wide variety of Japanese sake, including a tasting set of local sake. I was very satisfied with the beef tongue, harako-meshi (salmon roe rice), and oysters. The harako-meshi was glossy, slightly sweet, and delicious.
