[Miyagi] Sendai Castle Museum

#0YenTravel2025Autumn Sendai Castle Observation Center is a guidance facility built on the site of the Sendai Castle Honmaru (main keep). The building underwent renovations in 2014 and reopened on February 27, 2015. The museum offers easy-to-understand exhibits on the highlights of the Sendai Castle ruins, focusing on exhibits related to the Honmaru Ohiroma (main keep hall), where ceremonies and government affairs of the Sendai domain were held. You can see a 1/50 scale replica of the Ohiroma (main hall) and a full-scale reproduction of part of the floor of the upper room where the domain lord sat. Another great perk is that it's free.
