Maybe after seeing so many beautiful, clean, and spectacular seas🌊, no one dares to casually call just any beach a "Glass Sea." You can't call every sea you've been to a Glass Sea, right? Sai Wan absolutely deserves the name "Glass Sea."🩵 The sea here, even without color correction or a professional camera, can capture its most beautiful side. Sai Wan is one of the beaches along the second section of the Luk Wu trail (even if you don’t have the stamina to hike, it’s still easy to get to). During holidays, it attracts many tourists. Some camp, some surf, some play in the sand, and others stroll... under the clear sky, it’s truly precious.🩵 I remember the first time I set foot in Sai Wan over ten years ago; it felt like a paradise away from the world. The water was clear, the sand fine, and there wasn’t a speck of trash. It really made people genuinely admire it. Back then, it wasn’t the age of the internet—no phones, no social media, no check-ins—just truly enjoying nature, something we probably can’t go back to! Today, Sai Wan has more people, more tourists, more liveliness, more convenience stores, and naturally, more trash. 🩵🩵🩵 If you want to enjoy the beautiful nature, you should love and protect it, and take your trash with you. Only then can its beauty last. 🌟🌟🌟 In hot weather, be sure to protect yourself from the sun to avoid heatstroke. Sunscreen, a small fan, a sun hat, sunglasses, and a small bottle of water mist spray can help cool you down when sprayed. 🌟🌟🌟 If hiking, wear comfortable shoes, quick-dry clothes, and bring a change of clothes. 🌟🌟🌟 Bring enough water and some snacks. 🌟🌟🌟 Know your limits and prioritize safety. 🚶🚶🚶 Hiking routes: 🚶1: Sai Wan Pavilion — Chui Tung Au — Sai Wan — (Ham Tin Wan — Tai Long Au — Chek Keng — Pak Tam Au) Total distance: 11 km, takes 3.5-5 hours Transportation: 🚌: From Sai Kung Yan Man Street No.16 (in front of McDonald's), take the NR29 village bus to "Sai Wan Pavilion" and hike to Sai Wan. 🚕: Take a taxi to Sai Wan Pavilion and hike to Sai Wan. This article focuses on the Sai Wan route.😊 🚶2: Man Yee Reservoir — Long Ke — Sai Wan Shan — Chui Tung Au — Sai Wan Transportation: 🚌: 1–(Weekdays Monday to Friday) From Sai Kung Bus Terminal, take bus 94 to "Sheung Yiu" stop, then hike to Man Yee Reservoir, passing Man Yee Reservoir — Long Ke — Sai Wan. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ This hiking route is long and requires a lot of stamina. Please know your limits.
