This is one of my favorite spots in Hong Kong. If you ask why, it must be because there are few people, the scenery is beautiful, it is not destroyed, and people who come here treat this place with kindness. Shenchong Prairie was originally intended to be a golf course, with turf being planted, but the plan was later terminated, leaving only a large area of ​​grass. Shenchong Grassland is private land and camping is not allowed on the grassland. If you want to lie down carefree on the big lawn, or want to have a picnic, you can bring a picnic mat, snacks and drinks to have a picnic on the lawn. 🌟🌟🌟 It is recommended to ask nearby stores before having a picnic to respect private areas. There is a convenience store at Shenyong Prairie where you can get supplies, but it is only open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. There are farm-grown vegetables to eat! During the holidays, many people will take a boat here in the morning, have lunch and then take a boat back, spending a relaxing morning, so comfortable 😌. 🌱🌱🌱 There are several ways to get to Sham Yong: 1: Arrive on foot and leave by boat. 2: Go by boat and return by boat. (Just be aware that the boats are less frequent.) 3: Go by boat and leave on foot There are many different hiking routes, and you can choose which route you want. 🚶🚶🚶 Route 1: Shui Lang Wo - Rong Shue O - Sham Chung (Take a boat from Sham Chung Pier to Ma Liu Shui Pier) 🚌Transportation to Shuilangwo: Take bus No. 99 (Sai ​​Kung - Heng On) or bus No. 299X (Sai ​​Kung - Sha Tin Town Centre) in Sai Kung Get off at Shui Lang Wo Station, cross the road across the street and walk towards Sai Kung until you reach the Yung Shue O sign, walk through Yung Shue O Village to Sham Chung. ⌛️It takes about 2-2.5 hours. 🌟This section is mostly a road with vehicles coming in and out, so you need to pay special attention to safety and try to walk on the side. (If you take the bus in the opposite direction, get off at Shui Lang Wo Station.
