Hong Kong｜Easy for Beginners to Reach the Attraction — Crab Cave at Cape D’Aguilar

Crab Cave is not named because there are many crabs inside the cave, but because of its unique appearance. From a distance, it looks like a giant crab, hence the name Crab Cave. The entire hiking path to Crab Cave is on flat roads, making it very easy. However, the round trip is about 10 kilometers, which might be a bit tiring for beginners. 🙈 At first glance, I personally think Crab Cave looks like a giant TV📺, broadcasting the ever-changing sea🌊, breathtakingly beautiful. 🩵🩵🩵 This is a very worthwhile spot to appreciate, every part looks like a painting. The wonders of nature never fail to amaze. Crab Cave is the end point of the Cape D’Aguilar Marine Reserve. Along the way, you will see rocks by the sea🪨, and Crab Cave is nestled among these rocks.🙈 On weekends, Crab Cave attracts many visitors lining up to take photos. When it’s windy, the waves crash against the rocks, creating waves. Please do not stand too close to the shore to avoid accidents. This visit was on a weekend with hot weather. The seawater looked especially blue under the sunlight, but there was not much wind, so no big waves were formed.🌊 🦀🦀🦀 Safety first, photos second 🚮🚮🚮 Take your own trash with you. (I saw some people leaving behind flowers for photos, broken umbrellas, forgotten slippers, and food bags just left there at Crab Cave.) Everyone is responsible for protecting nature. Taking one small step forward means a big leap for human civilization.😆 🌊🌊🌊 There are many large spiders🕷️ along the way, do not touch them. 🌟🌟🌟 Not far from the bus stop at the start of the walk, there is a solar-powered mobile toilet. You can use it if needed because there are no toilets along the route. (The toilet at the midway convenience store is a primitive dry toilet without flushing, which not everyone can tolerate.) 📍Address: Cape D’Aguilar Marine Reserve Transportation: Monday to Sunday: Take the MTR Island Line to “Shau Kei Wan Station” and exit at A3, then walk straight to take Bus No. 9, or exit at A2, turn left to take the red minibus to “Cape D’Aguilar” stop, then start hiking. Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays: Take Citybus X9 from Central (Star Ferry Pier) to “Cape D’Aguilar” stop, then start hiking. This bus has fewer trips. Central starting service times: Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays: 10:30, 11:30 Shek O ending service times: Saturdays (fixed schedule): 16:30, 17:00, 17:30, 18:00 Sundays and Public Holidays: 16:30–19:00 (every 15-30 minutes) Great place for hiking and outings
