Located at the foot of Taehwasan Mountain, it's a popular Gongju destination, offering a combination of easy trekking and temple tours. Passing through the Haetalmun Gate at the entrance, you'll immediately be greeted by the Daegwangbojeon Hall and the five-story stone pagoda. This pagoda, influenced by Tibetan Lamaism, has a unique crown-like shape at its top! Magoksa Temple is also a historical site where independence activist Kim Gu resided. Within the temple grounds, there's a walking path called the "Baekbeom Meditation Trail," perfect for a moment of reflection.
