Beautiful arhitecture 🗺️

#summerdestinations This summer, I explored the stunning architecture of Gdańsk, Poland, and it was absolutely breathtaking! 🏛️🇵🇱 The city is a treasure trove of beautiful buildings, blending Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles, and there’s no entrance fee to wander around and enjoy these architectural gems. One of my favorite spots was the Long Market, where colorful, ornately decorated townhouses line the street. The Golden Gate and the Green Gate bookend this vibrant area, and each building tells a story with its intricate facades and historical significance. The Main Town Hall, with its towering spire, offers a fantastic view of the city if you’re up for a climb. St. Mary's Church, one of the largest brick churches in the world, is another must-see. The sheer scale and grandeur of its interior left me speechless. Nearby, the Great Armoury is a masterpiece of Mannerist architecture, and its detailed exterior is a sight to behold. Wandering through the streets, I also came across the beautifully restored Gdańsk Crane and the strikingly modern European Solidarity Centre. Each corner of Gdańsk reveals something new and fascinating, from charming cobblestone alleys to grand historical landmarks.
