Gdansk Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Gdansk - another super nice place in my favourite country - Poland, part of the European Union. It is on the coast of Baltic sea in the very northern part of the country. The pictures are from September - maybe the last month of the year with warm weather.

Gdansk has one of the largest ancient buildings in Poland with a distinct Gothic and Renaissance style. From the 8th century, some people began to live in this area. In 1793, they were occupied by Prussian and renamed Danzig. It was built into a city full of German customs. The Old Town of Gdansk is a member of the United Nations World Heritage List and you can enter the colorful squares through the gates.
Most of the ancient city buildings that everyone sees in Gdansk are rebuilt after the war.
Gdansk Rivers into the sea, walking along the river is also an interesting thing. There are old and new buildings full of German and Polish flair, and there are wooden cruise ships on the river. The Museum of World War II stands on the banks of the river and tells the cause and result of the war between the city and the charcoal.
About the reluctance of this nation of Poland, it is evident from the origin of the city of Gdynia in the city of Sanlian! Because the glorious Gdansk has been suppressed and suppressed by Germany, Poland chose to establish a city not far from it, but also the location of the Baltic Sea estuary - that is Gdynia. After spending decades of national resources, Gdynia has developed into the third largest city in the country and another trade center that can compete with Gdansk.
The dock cranes of the past have now become the signature of the Maritime Museum. Strolling along the banks of the Gdansk River, you can find exquisite coffee shops and restaurants. Whether it is a resident here or a tourist who crosses us like us, don't forget to sit down on the banks of the Gdansk River.
This is the great craze Zuraw located in Gdansk, Poland. This is actually one of the landmark of Gdansk. Here you can see the hostorical building and museum as well as enjoying afternoon tea with a great taste of poland chocolate and coffee. An interesting place to be. #merrychristmas

To say why Gdansk is so popular with tourists, there is a reason to say: amber. Gdansk is known for producing amber, amber from the Baltic Sea. The famous amber street is always crowded with people who come to Taobao. There are nearly one hundred large and small booths, most of which are sold from Poland amber and beeswax. The time left for Gdansk was not plentiful, so I could only look at the window of the amber shop and swallow a few mouthfuls of water, and then silently selected a few refrigerators with amber particles on the outside stall. The old town of Gdansk is well worth a stroll and it is one of the largest ancient buildings in Poland. Shipping has been very developed since ancient times and has always been one of the most important ports on the Baltic coast. Today, sailing in the harbor is not a merchant ship full of cargo, but a retro sailing boat full of tourists.

Zamek w Malborku Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Located in the small town of Marburg in northern Poland, there is a castle that was built in 1276 and listed on the World Heritage List. Marlborough Castle, known as the Dotnik Aldo Castle, was once the headquarters of the German Teutonic Knights. The construction of the castle is red, walking from the train station and you can see it from afar. The shape of the castle is rectangular and depends on the Nogart River. The castle doesn't look big, but walk slowly inside, and it takes at least half a day to look at it. The religious function of the Marlborough Castle Collection Monastery, a comprehensive building that combines with the castle's military defense functions, is the world's largest brick-structured castle, representing the highest level of construction of the entire medieval castle.
Located in the middle of Warsaw and Gdansk, Marlborough, built in the 12th century, is a castle that bears witness to Polands honor and disgrace. It is a member of the United Nations-rated World Cultural Heritage List and is the largest brick building and Goth in Europe. The castle is still the only castle ruins built by the Teutonic Knights.
Marburg German means "the castle of the Virgin Mary", but in fact its name is "Tedonic Aldo Castle", but for the convenience of memory, we still call her "Marlborough Castle" Put it. This typical Prussian red brick castle stands on the banks of the river from the Middle Ages. From the other side of the river, Huahua can see this vermilion full-brick building. It is very huge. Compared with the exquisite and magnificent "castle" in our minds, there is a strong and quaint masculinity here.
From the outer castle to the middle castle, it will pass through a moat, and the suspension bridge on the river is still free to rise and fall. The castle has a huge highlight in
, which is its monastery dining room. This is the largest medieval restaurant in Europe, with the functions of a conference hall and a ballroom. The entire dining room used only three thin columns to support the three-dimension vault, which is enough to show the cutting-edge technology of 14th-century European architecture. In the dining room, there is a well-preserved 14th-century Madonna mural, where hundreds of monks can be seen dining together.
The Church of the Virgin Mary, which has just reopened, reveals the classic 14th-century style. Many solemn and exquisite statues stand on the walls of the church and the altar is holy.
