Gdansk is a beautiful city 🗺️

#traveldiaries I recently visited Gdańsk, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The city’s history and charm are unbeatable, especially when you walk down Długi Targ (Long Market), where the colorful facades of the buildings feel straight out of a fairytale. The highlight for me was the Neptune Fountain, which is such an iconic spot. The best part? Exploring the area is free, and just taking in the atmosphere of this old Hanseatic city feels priceless. 🌊 I also took a tour of the Museum of the Second World War (25 PLN for entry), and it was so immersive – an absolute must for history lovers. Another cool spot is the Mariacka Street, famous for its amber shops and cozy cafés. Plus, don’t miss climbing St. Mary’s Church Tower for panoramic views of the entire city – it’s a bit of a workout, but the view is worth it! Afterward, I hopped on a ferry to Westerplatte, a historic site just outside the city. It’s free to explore and holds a lot of significance in WWII history.
