Creative exotic flavor combination in dessert in Gdansk

#celebrateit Can tell that the place has the skill from the array of desserts on display, but the ingredients used are not what I would have wished. Ordered a mango chocolate tart, but the mango flavor here doesn’t taste quite like natural mango but concentrated mango syrup. And there’s a chewy element in the cake (like brined fruit), I suppose it is brined mango, but that’s not a good taste of brined mango (speaking from someone growing up in tropical country). To me this dessert doesn’t represent mango well. For the price, more care could be taken. Was thinking maybe it’s only fair to try another one before leaving a review, but overall I found it having too much sugar that it clouded flavors; so eventually I still decided not to. There’s not much in this dessert that requires sugar for structural integrity or moisture retention actually. But the staff is very welcoming and supportive when I was ordering. Kudos to the service.
