Renovated 18th-century Renaissance palace

Spain Westward Journey ~ Cáceres (Region) The house or palace of Ovando was built in 1519 during the Renaissance, but was reformed in the 18th century. One of the finest examples of palace architecture in Cáceres from the 15th and 16th centuries. It was supposed to have two towers, one on each side of the main facade, but one of them was never completed. The finished tower has a window decorated with an arch. The window railings of the facade and especially the entrance with half-moon arches are worth mentioning. #2024TravelReview #SpainTravel #Extremadura
