Mountain View Hotels in Macau

"The hotel entrance is directly opposite the airport exit, making it incredibly easy to find. Staff were available to guide us from the ground floor all the way to the 9th-floor check-in. We booked a suite, which was very spacious. They even provided a free power adapter delivered to our room. From our window, we had a view of the Macau Convention Centre and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (I heard another side overlooks Macau International Airport). Getting to the main island was super convenient with several bus companies – we practically didn't spend any money on transportation (though they stop running at 9 PM, so we had to bite the bullet and take a taxi). Breakfast vouchers had to be purchased separately, and I'd suggest they add more variety to the breakfast offerings."

"## Facilities Well-equipped with a bathtub and a mini-fridge. ## Cleanliness The room is a bit old overall, but there's no dirt or damage, so it's acceptable. ## Environment The hotel has a golden hue, giving it a very retro feel. We stayed on the 19th floor, and the view from the window was quite good. ## Service What I can't understand is that after we extended our stay for another night, we left in the afternoon. About half an hour before we left, the cleaning lady asked if we wanted the room cleaned. We said yes, but a bit later. When we left, the cleaning lady was cleaning the room next door. However, when we returned in the evening, we found that the room hadn't been cleaned at all. None of the toiletries or drinking water had been replenished, which meant we didn't have enough shampoo and shower gel when we showered. It was quite late then, and we were too tired to go to the front desk for new supplies."

"Booked the family room with an adjoining kids' room. The room was quite spacious, and the night view of the Macau Tower from the sea-facing window was beautiful. They even gave us three delicious egg tarts! The only downside is that it's a bit out of the way, and the uphill walk can be tiring. However, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel."

"The hotel is surrounded by supermarkets and local eateries, situated in the old town area, not far from St. Paul's Ruins. I really liked the serene and quiet environment of the hotel, and the price was very budget-friendly. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the food at the restaurant on the first floor was delicious. The cleaning auntie was also very kind. It was a very satisfying trip. In the evenings, it was great to wander around the neighborhood and stretch my legs. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is located on a slope, so getting up and down is very steep and would be quite difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The bus stop is close to the hotel, but again, the climb is challenging. The room was spacious, and I was pleased to find an iron and ironing board. The hotel has a cozy, Portuguese style. There's a small pool, which the kids enjoyed. Breakfast was modest, with coffee in a thermos, but you won't go hungry. We walked to the sea to swim but decided against going in. The water was very murky, and there were dead fish floating around. Only a couple of Chinese tourists were on the beach. Housekeeping was very poor; all the towels and bedding should be replaced. Everything was old and worn out, and the duvet covers were synthetic. There was mold in the bathroom. And the icing on the cake – a huge, 5cm cockroach ran in and scared the children."
