"Hotel Location: The hotel is situated halfway up a hill, very close to Hotel Royal. I originally intended to book Hotel Royal, but decided on Hotel Guia instead because it offers a shuttle bus service to the border gate. It turned out to be a great location. Heading up the hill from the hotel entrance takes you to Guia Lighthouse and Guia Hill Park, perfect for active travelers. Walking down the hill, you're very close to the 'King of Gambling's' photo spot, and there's a 7-Eleven and small supermarket nearby, along with a variety of restaurants. Further down the stairs is Tap Seac Square, and it's also a short walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. This location was incredibly convenient for my work. Hotel Facilities: The hotel has a charming, old-world feel, like something from the last century, with a rustic, aged character. The showerhead is a fixed,莲蓬-style spray, and there's a bathtub and wooden sliding doors. Overall, it's clean and tidy, with a mini-fridge to chill drinks. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate, and there's enough space by the window to fully open a large suitcase. There's a lovely little rooftop terrace with cute decor; sitting up there for a drink and a breeze in the evening would be very pleasant. Hotel Restaurant: There's a very popular restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. It seems to attract not only hotel guests but also many outside diners. Hotel Service: All the staff I encountered were excellent and professional, never showing any negative emotions. The hotel shuttle driver was also very helpful, reminding me to use the pedestrian walkway ahead to avoid a fine. Many thanks to them. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit."

"The room was quite spacious, clean, and tidy. They even offered a complimentary breakfast for one (fried noodles, mushroom and chicken congee, and pickled vegetables), which was delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, and getting around by bus is super convenient (it seems like Macau has mostly circular routes, so you can catch a bus from any stop). We also tried the restaurant next door, Yang Zhi Jin Lao, and the food was good. The hotel's weekend rates are double the weekday prices, but we had no choice since we were in town for a concert."

The Hotel Fortuna is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Hotel Fortuna is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Macau. The hotel is conveniently located a short 8km drive from Macau International Airport. Keeping busy is easy, with Macao Open Top Bus, Dongwangyang New Street and S. Francisco Garden all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Macau hotel offers parking on site. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with friends.

"Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay at this hotel in Macau. It offers great value for money and a fantastic location, right opposite Wynn, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel feels a bit dated, and the facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is decent, and the shower pressure is excellent, which I was quite happy with. It's definitely a good value option on the Peninsula."

City Viva Hotel Macau is located in the entertainment and nightlife, sightseeing area of Macau. It is a popular choice for business and leisure. The hotel is not far from the city center, about 1.4 km. Guests of the hotel can enjoy sightseeing at the Golden Lotus Plaza, Macau's Returning Gifts Gallery, Macau Wine Museum, and other classic attractions. The facilities and services provided by City Viva Hotel Macau will make your stay memorable. The hotel offers access to a vast array of services, including 24-hour front desk, facilities for disabled guests, luggage storage. Some rooms include television LCD / plasma screen, non-smoking rooms, air conditioning, desk, mini-bar, provided to help guests recharge after a long day.The hotel offers an excellent variety of recreational facilities, including sauna, spa, massage, and steam room. Professional services and a wealth of unique activities are all available at City Viva Hotel Macau.

"Location: Directly opposite the main entrance of Macao Polytechnic University, just across the road – an excellent choice for students coming for exams on Saturdays! There are also many attractions nearby. The Lotus Square is right next door, and Sands Macao and Fisherman's Wharf are a 5-minute walk away. Walking along the main road in front of the university, you can reach Grand Lisboa in 15 minutes. A half-hour walk up a hill path (with some elevators) will take you to the Ruins of St. Paul's. From here, you can easily visit the attractions in the old town of Macau Peninsula in half a day. Facilities: Very new. Although the room isn't huge, it's comfortable enough, and it's very quiet at night. Perhaps it's because it's near the university and many students come for exams, but the guests generally seem to be of high caliber. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. Environment: There are various small and large restaurants nearby to suit different preferences. There are also small breakfast spots, which are a big plus for those who don't have high demands or can't dine at the hotel due to exams. Service: The service attitude is excellent! They are very experienced in accommodating students who come for exams. Not requiring a deposit is a great policy; after all, everyone checks in based on trust. Compared to some other hotels in Macau that still require deposits, this approach is much more humane!"

AAnonymous UserFacilities: Very complete, with a microwave and oven, which was super convenient for heating up food I bought outside! Environment: The terrace is beautiful! They also have fans up there so it's not too hot. The sea view and the Macau Tower view are excellent. Cleanliness: The room was generally clean, though there was a bit of dust on the hinge connection of my bedside lamp 🤣. But I understand, it's not a very noticeable spot after all. 😂 Service: I realized I lost my necklace when I checked out. It might have been in the elevator or the room. A few hours later, I was contacted via WeChat to say they found it! Anyway, thank you to the staff who helped me search – the front desk lady and the housekeeping staff. I had already given up hope 😿, but they found it for me. I'm really happy, such warm and caring service!! Hope to see you again.

CCongcitianyagulvThis is my second time staying at this hotel. The price is reasonable, the location is excellent, and it's well-equipped and clean. The front desk staff, seeing I was traveling alone, kindly upgraded me from a twin room to a king room, and it even had a mountain view. However, they still charged a 500 deposit. The staff said they charge it regardless of how many times you've stayed here. 😀

RRuguoailvxingThis hotel is my go-to whenever I'm in Macau, and I've given it great reviews many times before. However, this time I hit a snag. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Border Gate (roughly every hour). We were waiting in the lobby 40 minutes early, and the shuttle did arrive on time. But then it took a winding route, picking up people at multiple stops, not at all like a direct car or public bus route. A trip that should have taken less than 20 minutes ended up taking over an hour to reach the Border Gate! What's more, where we were dropped off wasn't directly at the Border Gate entrance; we had to lug our luggage up and down stairs and walk a bit to even see the Border Gate. We almost missed our departure.

GGuest UserThe room was bright, clean, and minimalist. The shower had great water pressure and stable temperature. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and it's close to Rua do Cunha and Cotai Strip. The breakfast, though simple, was sufficient, especially the boiled eggs and pork chop – delicious! Overall, it's a perfect score! 👍🏻

GGuest UserThe staff were quite nice, and when I checked in at noon, the room seemed pretty good in all aspects. But then, after I came back from exploring in the evening, the nightmare began! As soon as I entered the room, there was a faint smell of smoke, but I wasn't sure where it was coming from, so I just assumed it was wafting in from outside the window (not asking to check or change rooms at that point was a big mistake). Then, around 11 or 12 o'clock, when I was getting ready for bed, the smoke smell became increasingly strong. After searching around for a long time, I finally confirmed it was almost certainly coming through the bathroom's exhaust fan or ventilation system!!! Since I was traveling alone, I didn't dare call someone to follow up in the middle of the night. I just suffered through the night until daylight, had breakfast, and left immediately. Ambiance: Smoke smell! Smoke smell! Smoke smell! Super strong! If you have rhinitis, you absolutely must avoid this place! It was so unbearable, like torture (it must have been the smoke coming from the exhaust fan in the picture 🚬).

GGuest UserFor our May Day holiday, we chose the British Yacht Club again, and our stay was once again super satisfying! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They even proactively upgraded me to a sea-view room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. We stayed for two nights, and the environment and service were consistently excellent. It was comfortable and relaxing, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose the British Yacht Club first for my next trip, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Ccrea0819The Fu Hua Hotel in Macau was a fantastic choice for my solo trip. The reception service was impeccable—friendly, efficient, and professional from check-in to check-out. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the historic old town, making it perfect for exploring Macau’s heritage sites on my own. Clean room and great value. Highly recommended for solo travelers.

Jjwmisc## Location: Absolutely a fantastic 5-star location! The hotel is directly opposite Sands, and Fisherman's Wharf is right next to Sands. March is the off-peak season in Macau, so there's no direct bus from Hengqin Port to Sands. You need to transfer at The Venetian, but it's still quite convenient. From Sands to the hotel, you have to cross a pedestrian bridge, but there's a 24-hour elevator. Once you exit the elevator, it's not a long walk in either direction, which is very helpful for travelers with luggage. ## Surroundings: To the right of the hotel, there's a small alley that leads directly to Macao Polytechnic University, less than 100 meters away, making it super convenient for students taking exams there. A 5-minute walk to the left will take you to the Lotus Square, and you can also see the Golden Lotus from the pathway behind the hotel. If you head right out of the hotel and walk straight down the main road for 15-20 minutes, you can reach the Grand Lisboa and Macau Tower. There are plenty of dining options nearby, probably due to its proximity to the university, with choices for all budgets. ## Facilities: The hotel reception is on the second floor. The interior facilities are complete, and the bedding and amenities are good. The room also has a refrigerator. The room isn't huge but doesn't feel cramped. ## Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well and felt comfortable. However, the windows are sealed, so upon first entering, there was a slight musty smell due to lack of ventilation. Thankfully, it dissipated after turning on the air conditioning and ventilation system. ## Environment: The hallway soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people walking and talking outside the room. Traffic noise from the street outside also comes through at night. However, this seems to be a common issue with hotels and can't be avoided. ## Service: The front desk staff are busy but very responsible, and they can switch between Mandarin and Cantonese freely for guests. A deposit is required for check-in, and Alipay is accepted.

SShixiazhiya⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location is unbeatable, but the breakfast seriously needs improvement. Staying at the Victoria Hotel Macau this time, the location really couldn't be better. It's right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to the Ruins of St. Paul's and all the major casinos. There's a bus stop right downstairs, so getting around is hassle-free. The room is typically 'Macanese' – not huge, but spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is decent, making it perfectly adequate for a layover. However, I really have to complain about the breakfast; the experience was quite poor. The restaurant seating was very cramped, and when it got busy, it felt chaotic. The food selection was very limited, and the hot dishes basically never changed. The taste was also quite ordinary, even a bit perfunctory, definitely inferior to hotels in the same price range. Overall, the stay itself was comfortable, but definitely don't have high expectations for breakfast. If your booking doesn't include breakfast, I recommend heading to a nearby tea restaurant instead; the food there will be much better! 🥲
