Yongchun Baizhangyan Scenic Area ⛰️ “Xianma”☯️

Going uphill along the winding mountain road, there are beautiful villages along the way. Although the altitude is less than 1,000 meters, there are countless bends, and almost every 30 meters, both hands keep turning the steering wheel left and right. When you come to the scenic area, there are not many steps to climb, which is relatively easy. Standing at the highest point, you can overlook the entire county in the valley. Walking up the steps, there are two local women carrying items for worship in front. I came up and found out that there was a temple built here, called Ma Temple, which was first built in the Song Dynasty. The tall sculpture at the door is "Xian Ma", the fairy lady of the Ma family who practiced Taoism here. 🙏Throughout the ages, many tourists and believers have traveled thousands of miles to Baizhangyan, or to admire the scenery and chant, or to make wishes to Xian Ma, or to pray for dreams, in order to achieve success in their careers and be safe and healthy. The Mid-Autumn Festival every year is the peak period for pilgrimage. By then, tourists from home and abroad flock to the place, creating huge crowds and a bustling atmosphere.
