Walk in Umbria Italy 🇮🇹

#travellerswonderland Exploring Umbria, Italy, felt like stepping into a postcard. Known as the “Green Heart of Italy,” this region is filled with rolling hills, medieval towns, and vineyards. I stayed near Assisi, and visiting the Basilica of St. Francis (free to enter) was a spiritual experience. The views from the top are breathtaking! Don’t miss Perugia, a charming hilltop town known for its chocolate—especially during the Eurochocolate festival. I also visited Orvieto, where the cathedral (€5 entrance fee) is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. Umbrian food is incredible—truffle pasta and local wines were my favorites. If you’re into nature, the Marmore Falls (entry €10) are nearby and worth a visit. They’re man-made, but you wouldn’t know it from the grandeur.
