Away from tourists | A flower-filled Italian town

Spello was known as Splendidissima Colonia Julia during the Roman era. Walking on the medieval stone streets of the town, the flowers decorated by each household give me the illusion of being in a botanical garden. Cyclamen, yellow osmanthus, windmill jasmine, hydrangea, wisteria, crape myrtle, lotus... and a series of unnamed flowers. (The town also has a grand flower festival every year!) Stepping out of the alleys of the town, to the high viewpoint, you can smell the scent of wisteria in the wind and the smell of cooking from afar. It's really pleasant!! A cup of coffee or a glass of wine, I feel like I could just linger in this town and not leave. For accommodation, it's suggested to stay outside the town, which is more convenient for parking and handling luggage. We stayed at a B&B called Da Lucilla - Appartamento a Spello. Right outside the window, you can see Spello, and just across the road is the entrance to the town. It's really superb!
