Assisi in Italy is a love at first sight

ASSISI IS A LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. This charming hill town, nestled in central Italy's Umbria region, is known to be the ‘city of saints’. Assisi is the birthplace of two of the famous Saints in the Catholic Church – Saints Francis and Claire (of Assisi). Right behind me stands the iconic Basilica of Saint Francis, a testament to the town's rich spiritual heritage. Yes, I fell in love with this beautiful and peaceful town of Assisi in an instant.
