The Tower of the Chapel

A Journey Through Spain's Central Plateau ~ Teruel (Region) The Church of La Merced features a Mudejar-style tower, a masterpiece from the late 16th century. The tower is composed of three sections: the lower part is square-shaped, the middle section is chamfered, both showcasing Mudejar architecture, while the top section is octagonal and was constructed during the Baroque period. Inside the church, there is a silverwork-style altarpiece dedicated to Saint George.
