World Heritage Cathedral

Walking tour in the Spanish Central Plateau ~ Teruel (region) A view of the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Mediavila, I don't know what it will be like inside but it is beautiful outside. It is considered an asset of cultural value and has been declared a historical-artistic monument since 1931 belonging to the National Art Treasure. The towers, roofs and domes have been a World Heritage Site since 1986. The cathedral has its origins in the church of Santa María de Mediavila, whose construction began in 1171 in Romanesque style and was completed in 1257 with the Mudejar tower. Tickets are 6€ each and well worth it, especially with a guide. The dome and roof are very interesting. It also has access to the Museum of Sacred Art, and if you don't need to go in, a professional at the entrance will explain some of the works to you. #AprilDestinations2025 #SpainTravel #Aragon
