Chenjiapu Village is a traditional village with a long history in Sidu Township, Songyang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. The history of this village can be traced back to the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, more than 600 years ago. It is located on a hill at an altitude of about 850 meters, surrounded by terraces, bamboo forests, ancient trees, and rolling mountains. Chenjiapu Village is known as the "Little Potala Palace" because of its unique geographical location and cliffside houses. The houses in the village are built along cliffs and slopes, forming a stepped village layout, showing the artistic beauty of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. In terms of cultural heritage, Chenjiapu Village has preserved many traditional buildings, such as ancestral halls, incense halls, community temples, ancient dwellings, ancient shops, ancient roads, and post stations. In 2014, Chenjiapu Village was selected as the third batch of national traditional villages, and in 2022, it was listed as a 3A-level scenic village in Zhejiang Province.
