Waking up at 7:30 in the morning and departing from Songyang County, we arrived at Chenjiapu around 9:00, with only the outskirts of the village having anything that could be called a parking space. After touring the village, the mountain roads at the village entrance and exit were already very congested, making it difficult for cars to pass each other. Chenjiapu Village is not large and is built along the mountain. The commercial development in the village is not extensive, with a bookstore, cultural and creative shops, and homestays; there are also not many dining options, just a few local cuisine restaurants (by the time we asked at Laobao at 10:30, it was already fully booked). · 📸 Photo Spots: 🔻 Xianfeng Bookstore (Chenjiapu Civilian Bookstore) is very famous, hidden in the cliffside forest, an excellent choice of location. There are some window-side seats with great framed views. 🔻 Feiniaoji. It is said that the terrace is great for photos, but we didn't go in. 🔻 Walking around the village offers many good photo opportunities. It is recommended to shoot in the morning/evening when the sunlight casts beautifully on the earthen walls. If you encounter mist, it presents a different kind of scenery. · The current trend of internet-famous check-ins has exceeded the carrying capacity of this mountain village, and the traffic issues urgently need to be resolved. Hopefully, future commercial operations can develop better and retain passing tourists.
