Some hotels, you only come to appreciate their beauty over time.

Years ago, when I first checked in, to be honest, I wasn't a big fan of Tony Chi's design style. Since then, I haven't stayed at the Park Hyatt Shanghai very often—usually with gaps of over a year and a half between each visit. But it's precisely these intervals that have shaped my appreciation. On the one hand, I've stayed at other hotels designed by Mr. Chi and gradually come to understand and admire his work. On the other hand, each reunion with the Park Hyatt Shanghai brings new feelings. Over time, perhaps in the last two or three years, I've truly fallen in love with it. As a hotel that's been open for over a decade, the Park Hyatt Shanghai does show its age in places. However, thanks to excellent maintenance, its elegant character remains. I've seen plenty of complaints online: outdated facilities, poor service, bad signal... Every stay at the same hotel is like opening a blind box. What others say is just a reference; you have to discover the truth for yourself. At least in my experience, I've never encountered any major issues at the Park Hyatt Shanghai. Instead, there have always been pleasant surprises, like discovering this time that the hotel has switched to new wooden key cards. As for when I'll return, I don't know. I'll leave it to fate. There are always new hotels to explore, but old friends never get old.
