Christmas Wonderland at Shangri-La! The beautiful afternoon tea is perfect for photos.

December is a dreamy and beautiful month, with every moment accompanied by brilliance. Winter, snow, and a silver world, everyone gathers around, sharing sweet, warm moments. This season's afternoon tea must be experienced at a 5-star hotel with a Christmas theme, especially at Pudong Shangri-La, where the atmosphere is perfect for photos! My best friend and I booked the Christmas Fantasy Afternoon Tea at the Lobby Lounge early, and we were amazed when we arrived! The floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby reflected various red maple and ginkgo trees, creating a beautiful late autumn scene. The huge golden halo Christmas tree was truly stunning. Shangri-La's afternoon tea has always had a good reputation. We ordered a warm mulled wine with a cinnamon aroma and a cocoa snowman drink, perfect for photos. This season's tea is presented on a delicate Christmas tree-shaped tray with exquisite ingredients. The Bavarian hazelnut dark chocolate is rich and fragrant; the Christmas chocolate tree is adorable; the glass snowball is actually a mini grapefruit mousse cake, sweet and refreshing; the English fruit cake is decorated with fresh raspberries, which I love~ The savory snacks are even better, paired with scones, saving us dinner. The French foie gras with fruity gingerbread is smooth and rich, the beetroot salmon with dill horseradish cream is romantically shaped, the honey ham with herb pineapple is incredibly delicious, and the Christmas turkey with whey cheese and red wine cabbage is creative and delicious! This year, we discovered even more fun activities here. Encounter the Christmas Post Office, play a treasure hunt gashapon machine; board the Christmas train and enjoy a festive cocktail; encounter the Christmas spaceship with many holiday gift boxes to choose from; visit the pastry shop and take home a Christmas gingerbread cake~ There are so many photo spots, you'll definitely win on social media! In this brilliant holiday season, invite your best friend or family to Pudong Shangri-La for a fairy tale journey, enjoy the heartfelt food and scenery, and let love and blessings embrace us tightly~

🍩 Where the donuts grow? * Shangri-la Pudong hotel's 怡咖啡海鲜自助餐厅 buffet is a good choice if you r travelling with a big company and all of u don't share same taste when talking about food. They have cuisine from all over the world, including Indiand, Turkush and Japanese food, a huge variety of seafood, which is quite fresh, and also a nice variety for those, who own sweet teeth only. * The section with deserts look so amazing, that it is hard the take ones eyes from it. 🍰❤️☕ * During big holidays the place also has DIY food just in the middle of the restaurant, so you can try to do your own Moon cakes during the Moon cake festival, or craft your own dumplings during Chinese New Year. 🍙🥮🥟🍡 . The restaurant is not big (according to Chinese standards), not quite cheap (around 350 per person), but always crowded cuz the food quality worth it. ALSO there is a huge kids room with slides, bubbles and all possible things for kids to play. The location is nice, it is two steps away from the North Bund and The Pearl tower. So after lunch/dinner you can enjoy a walk in a nice area. #shanghai #buffet #seafoodfeast #desert #deliciousfood #foodieheaven #hotelexperience #urbanexplorer#lightthecity#tripfoodie
