Memories of a crimson glow spreading over a white island.

A day in Santorini begins and ends with light. Walking through the narrow alleys of Oia, sunlight dazzlingly sparkles as it filters through the white walls, and before you know it, the sea transforms into a deep cobalt blue. Each small shop displays souvenirs crafted with care, and the music drifting from the end of the alley gently halts the steps of travelers. In the afternoon, I headed to Red Beach. As its name suggests, the red cliffs embracing the sea create a scene straight out of a movie. Though the wind blew strongly, the scent of the sea and the sound of the waves brought a calming peace. Sitting for a moment, I watched the sun slowly descend beyond the horizon, painting the sea in shades of red. After the sun had completely set, I returned to Oia, where the village was bathed in warm lights. The laughter from terraces and the aroma of delightful food blended together, perfectly concluding the day’s journey.
