On the hills of Santorini, where the sun breaks through

The morning sun gently cascades over the white brick buildings, and when you open the window, the deep blue Aegean Sea stretches out endlessly. Leaving my accommodation and strolling through the alleys of Fira, quaint shops and the fragrant aroma of coffee captivate travelers. Around lunchtime, I head to Oia. Photo spots line the streets as I climb the hill, and the town flows at a leisurely pace. The warm breeze blowing through the white alleys, the blue-domed churches and pink bougainvillea harmonizing with each other, creates a romantic atmosphere unique to Santorini. Sitting at a small terrace cafe, sipping a glass of wine and gazing out at the sea, I felt more peaceful than anywhere else in the world. In the evening, Oia is bathed in the hues of sunset. As the sun slowly sinks into the sea, everyone holds their breath and watches. The white buildings sparkle with gold beneath the crimson sky, and a feeling of time standing still permeates the place.
