Rich underwater archaeological heritage

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Murcia (Region) Special highlights include a collection of ivory with Phoenician inscriptions, which are unique in the world. Amphorae, lead ingots, anchors…even life-size models of Roman merchant ships. This is just a portion of the collection on display at the museum, which is dedicated to exhibiting objects found during underwater archaeological excavations. This visit will take you through the history of maritime activities, trade and transport, especially during the Phoenician and Roman times.
