Great little fortress ~ the highest point in Águilas

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Murcia (Region) It’s not really a castle as it’s quite small, just a small fortress situated in an amazing location with incredible views over the city of Águilas. The walk up the hill to the entrance is a bit strenuous (the lift is out of service from 7 August 2024), so avoid midday as the sun, heat and climbing will make you sweat.
