Ehime Travel: Hotel Tsubakikan

Hotel Tsubakikan is an 8-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station. 📍〒790-0836 5-32 Dogosagiyamachi, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture FAX: 089-943-1743 Parking: Available, 60 spaces, 880 yen per night (tax included) We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room. The room was very spacious and clean. ✨ The hot spring water is a simple alkaline spring, and there was also an open-air bath. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. ♪ The hairdryers in the women's bath were all from ReFa! Meals were served buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. It gets crowded during peak times, so I recommend going right at the start of the meal times! There were many local dishes, and they were delicious! At night, there was a live performance of the Suigun Taiko (naval drum) in the 1st-floor lobby starting at 8:40 PM (with some non-performance days). We were able to enjoy the traditional art of Iyo, the Suigun Taiko, performed live! It was powerful, and everyone was watching! The hotel also has a gift shop, and for an additional fee, there are karaoke and table tennis areas available! Being close to the Dogo Onsen shopping street made it very convenient. I would love to stay at this hotel again.
