The Kunming Trail.. Xishan Scenic Area Cliff.

Near Maomaqing (猫猫菁) in Xishan, there is an observation deck that is one of the highest points in Kunming. From here, you can overlook Dianchi Lake (滇池), making it a popular spot for many visitors. Recently, when I visited, I found that from the fork in the road in front of the Hani Renjia Inn (哈尼人家客栈), motorbikes were no longer allowed to go up to the observation deck due to a barrier, and I had to walk up the cement mountain path. Despite this, the charm of this place remains. Especially around 6-7 PM, the expansive view of Dianchi Lake under the clear sunlight after the rain is truly overwhelming. Using a drone can capture even more stunning scenes. Although a barrier has been installed, the view is still worth it after a short walk from the parking lot in front of the Hani Renjia Inn (哈尼人家客栈).
