Hong Zhong Bak Kut Teh in Klang, Malaysia

#100TravelWays #Malaysia #Klang #Malaysiatrip #travel #foodie #hongzhong #BakKutTeh #Malaysia #KlangCity #KualaLumpur #Food #BakKutTeh #HongzhongBakKutTeh Store Information Shop name: Hong Zhong Bak Kut Teh Opening hours: 07:00–15:00 Address: 13, Jalan Raya Timur, Kawasan 1, 41000 Klang, Selangor, Malaysia After breakfast, we took a bus to Shah Alam to see the Blue Mosque. It was very spectacular and beautiful. After the visit, we immediately went to Klang to eat Bak Kut Teh. When I was doing some research, I saw some people discussing whether the Bak Kut Teh in Kuala Lumpur or Klang was better, so I decided to try both places. We were originally going to eat at Sheng Fa Bak Kut Teh under the bridge, but we didn't notice the closing time. It happened to be closed that day, so we changed to Hong Zhong Bak Kut Teh, which was a 7-minute walk away. We arrived at around 12:30 noon. Although it was meal time, we sat down without queuing. The whole store is not big and there is no air conditioning. This store only has Bak Kut Teh, and you can choose which part of the meat to make dry or soup. The boss was very enthusiastic in suggesting how to eat it more authentically. In the end, we ordered a soup and a dry Bak Kut Teh. Originally we wanted to order something cold, but the boss suggested that we drink Bak Kut Teh with hot tea. We saw that the locals at the next table also made their own hot tea. In the end, after drinking the hot tea, we found that our bodies were not so hot anymore. It was really magical. You can try this combination when you eat Bak Kut Teh in the future. The waiter served the dishes very quickly, two large plates of rice + one dry dish and one soup. The soup was the usual Bak Kut Teh with tofu and mushrooms. The tofu was very delicious because it absorbed the soup. The soup was a bit salty. Later, the people at the next table said that the boss had added some water to dilute it, but we had already finished eating so there was nothing we could do. The dry dish was spicy and went well with rice. It was super delicious with a little garlic and chili👍. The biggest difference between the dry and soup dishes is the degree to which the meat and sauce are combined. I prefer the dry dish. But if you can't handle spicy food, it's best to tell the boss first. They will help you make it lighter. You can also get more rice. A plate costs 1.5RM. Overall, the service from the boss and the staff is very friendly and the food is OK. If you come to Klang, I highly recommend you to come and try it. 😋 Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
