Autumn in Inverness 🌲

#autumnbeauty I recently spent a few magical days in Inverness during autumn, and the beauty of the Highlands this time of year is just stunning 🍂. The city itself has such a warm and welcoming feel, with cozy cafes and charming streets to explore. The colors of the trees, turning golden and red, made walks along the River Ness unforgettable. Plus, it’s free to wander around and take in the gorgeous scenery! One of the highlights was a visit to nearby Loch Ness, which is only about a 30-minute drive from Inverness. We didn’t spot Nessie, but the views of the loch surrounded by autumn foliage were mesmerizing. The entrance fee to Urquhart Castle was around £12, and the view from there was unbeatable. If you’re into history, Inverness Castle and the Culloden Battlefield are also close by, and both are must-sees.
