📍Inverness, Scotland When visiting Loch Ness in the Highlands, it's a village that is often passed through, said to be the largest in the Highlands. ✔️Inverness is a city located on the northeast coast of Scotland, where the River Ness meets the Moray Firth. It is the largest city and cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. ✔️The old town has the 19th-century Inverness Cathedral, the Old High Church mostly built in the 18th century, and an indoor Victorian market selling food, clothing, and crafts. 🌸The double cherry blossoms blooming everywhere made it a pleasant place to look around. Being a hub village, it attracts many tourists passing through, so restaurants and other places get crowded from Friday, and it is recommended to make reservations in advance. ⚠️It was easy to find B&Bs, but most were fully booked. ⚠️The cathedral is currently closed for renovation.
