Light and Shadow "Sleepless Night" Exhibition @ East Kowloon Cultural Centre

Sleep Member 🏖️ Environment/Facilities: The "Sleepless Night" installation features two light and shadow experience devices. The first is "Sleepless City" located in the atrium, which uses sensors to capture real-time train movements and synchronously triggers projections inside the venue. The train images swiftly glide across the white walls on both sides of the atrium, seamlessly connecting with the real scene outside the windows. The flowing light is dazzling, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The other installation uses the stage as a backdrop, switching the audience's perspective to that of performers. Sitting on the stage and looking at the twinkling lights in the audience seats offers a unique feeling. Pillows beside the stage interact with visitors by playing lullabies from different eras and countries. 💞 Recommendation: Kwun Tong district is often brightly lit, and even late at night, residential and commercial buildings still have some lights on. "Sleepless Night" transforms the East Kowloon Cultural Centre into a resting space, allowing visitors to feel comfort and tranquility through the light and shadow installations. I chose the guided tour, and at the end, you can savor calming white flower tea.
