Chiryu Shrine 🏯

Chiryu Shrine is the second shrine in Mikawa Prefecture, and it is said that in the third year of Kasho (850 AD), Jingu-ji Temple was built on the ground and a pair of pagodas were built. The existing Taho-to Pagoda is 3 kilometres in size, with 2 round pillars at the back, which are used as raiko pillars, and a tiled roof. As an architectural remains of Jingu-ji Temple, it is a valuable item throughout the country.
