Your flight lands at Loei Airport, then take a 40-50-minute drive. You can rent a car or take an Air Asia van directly to Chiang Khan for 250 baht per person. • Check in to your accommodation along the Mekong River. • Stroll along Chiang Khan Walking Street. • Enjoy local delicacies such as pork wrapped in banana leaves, fried eggs, grilled rice, and shrimp skewers. • In the evening, take a boat ride along the Mekong River to watch the sunset. We went with three friends and chartered a boat for 500 baht. ⸻ 📍 Day 2: Nature + Temples + Cafes • Early morning: Offer sticky rice to monks at the walking street (a Chiang Khan signature).
