Wat Tha Khaek, Loei Province

It is an ancient temple located on the banks of the Mekong River, far from Chiang Khan District. The principal Buddha image in the temple is an ancient Buddha image, approximately 300 years old, carved from a single piece of stone. There are 3 images in total. The first image is a Buddha image in a meditation posture, approximately 2 cubits wide and 1.20 meters high. The second image is a Buddha image in a meditation posture, approximately 0.70 meters wide and 1.20 meters high. The third image is a Buddha image in a reclining Buddha posture, approximately 0.65 meters wide and 1.20 meters high.
