Bukhara Biennale

for a Broken HeartThis time in Bukhara, I also caught the first Uzbekistan Art Bukhara Biennale, held from September 5 to November 25. Under the theme "Prescription for a Broken Soul," it brought together more than 200 artists from 39 countries. The ancient city on the Silk Road was instantly illuminated by contemporary art. Although I couldn't fully grasp the meaning of contemporary art, I experienced a more modern Uzbekistan and heard a more rebellious expression of this civilization, touching on AI, humanity, and futurism.
