Goa Glasses or Glasses Hole is actually a Dutch gold mining location, which is located in Lebong Tambang Village, North Lebong District, which is approximately 2 Km from the city center of Bengkulu Province. This giant hole is the remnants of gold mining activities carried out by the Dutch colonials in the past, because the gold has run out, it is now used as a natural tourist attraction. Due to mining activities in the past, until finally leaving a cave-like hole shaped like an irregular circle on the cliff wall. This artificial cave was formed when in the early 1900s mining exploitation was carried out in Lebong. Currently, local people use it as a traditional mining site. This traditional gold mining activity is an attraction in itself for tourists who want to see up close how gold is mined. And because the unique hole shape resembles glasses, the local people give the name Glasses Hole. The tourist attraction of Lobang Kaca is evidence of the history of Dutch colonial rule in Indonesia, especially in Lebong Regency. This cave is located in a hill or on a rocky hill wall which is one of the entrances to the mining site with a width of approximately 2 meters with a height of approximately 4 meters from the ground. #tebing #forest #park

We flew from Doi Muang to Jakarta airport in Indonesia, building 3. The ticket and itinerary didn't say which building to check in for the connecting flight to Bengkulu province. Luckily, there were locals who helped us by taking a (free) bus from building 1 to building 3. The plane ticket had to be changed again. It was a trip that we thought we would miss. When someone picked us up at Bengkulu airport, they took us on a full day of sightseeing.
