Painting
The Breath of the Sea – Flowing with Watercolour Let the rhythm of waves and the glow of soft sunlight guide your brush in this calming, beginner-friendly watercolour workshop. Artist Diana Quilarque will lead you through the peaceful process of painting a serene seascape using essential techniques such as wet-on-wet blending, layering transparent washes, and adding subtle texture with tools like salt and dry brushwork. The workshop begins with a grounding exercise featuring ocean sounds and gentle movement to help you feel present and creatively open. Step-by-step guidance follows as you sketch, paint, and refine your artwork on a 9”x12” watercolour paper. By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautiful finished painting and a deeper connection to your inner calm. About the Instructor Diana Quilarque is a dedicated visual artist with over 26 years of experience in oil and watercolor painting. Originally from Venezuela, she developed a deep appreciation for realism through detailed landscapes, still life, and portraits. After a 20-year hiatus, she rekindled her passion for painting, studying under renowned artist Lorne Winters from 2017 to 2023. During this time, she refined her techniques and expanded her artistic vision. Drawn to watercolor’s fluidity and expressive nature, Diana embraced the medium, allowing her to capture light, movement, and emotion in ways oil painting could not. She has exhibited her work in local art collectives and has contributed to multiple charity auctions. Passionate about teaching, she shares her expertise through workshops, guiding students of all levels to develop their skills and artistic voices. Diana believes art is a transformative experience—one that fosters creativity, mindfulness, and connection. Information Source: Wallack's Art Supplies & Framing | eventbrite

Become The Man Who Has It All | Ottawa

Jul 28, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED

Cultural Experiences
Do you feel like your relationships and social circle lack depth?  Does the idea of approaching beautiful women feel scary for you?  Do you hesitate to dive into a business, side hustle, or purpose you are called for? It’s time to take charge and unlock a confident , empowered version of yourself.  In this pre-recorded email video series, you’ll learn to cultivate genuine connections and build a profitable business. Master cognitive and emotional tools to finally break free from fear and doubt , reclaim your self-worth , and step into a limitless future .  Let’s start building the life you’re meant to lead—one that thrives on confidence and purpose. Meet Shawn: My name is Shawn “Sheshn” Heshmatpour, you can call me either Shawn or Sheshn. I’m not only a playful soul who always sees the fun in life, I am also the first life coach in the industry to have my hairy arms mistaken for tattoo sleeves. At a young age, I had extreme social anxiety, was bullied a lot, and didn’t have much self-confidence. I struggled with making friends, building relationships, and was absolutely frightened to put myself out there to date women. However, the early negative conditioning and trauma could not stop my persistence in personal growth. Over 5 years ago, I dove into books and listened to audio content on self-development. I continued this journey with multiple mentors and, within months, my personal confidence skyrocketed. I was learning things about myself and the world around me in a matter of weeks that could have taken years without coaching and reading. As I became more confident in who I am and took more risks, I left my comfortable 9-5 job to become a life coach for people who struggled with social anxiety and lack of self-confidence. I’ve now been doing it for over 3 years, coaching people all over the world—one-on-one and in groups—to help them gain the confidence to make new friends, build relationships, start businesses, go on dates, become better parents/spouses, and become confident in ANYTHING they desire. Most importantly, I teach them how to expand their mind, heart, and soul to heal from their pain and turn it into light. Now, I coach and teach men how to do the same. I used to hold so much fear about putting myself out there because of my dark past, but as I’ve grown both personally and professionally, I’ve learned to embody confidence with women, relationships, and business while staying true to my authentic self—showing up from a place of genuine love and masculine power. Over the past two years, I’ve built my income to a consistent 4-5 figure months, proving that self-mastery and subconscious reprogramming don’t just improve confidence, but also create tangible financial success. The work I’ve done on myself has transformed not just my business, but also my dating life, my inner healing, and my social connections. The truth is, as healthy men, we don’t need to be in our egos or play games to meet women, make friends, or achieve financial success. You can be genuine without being walked all over or constantly feeling rejected. My coaching methodology, Cognitive Mastery, and Emotional Ownership, is a self-development process for men who want to show up in the world ready to own their authentic power.
